Our Chef and His Story
Chef Anthony has spent his life obsessed with cooking and learning more about food and the complex but understated techniques and flavors of many different cultures. After finishing his education at Johnson and Wales University, Chef Anthony went on to work at The French Laundry and The Restaurant at Meadowood before traveling the world to learn more about himself and the food and culture outside of his small fine dining bubble.
It is here that Chef Anthony fell in love with telling stories through food, as he learned of the tales and often exaggerated historic memories connected to different dishes and cuisines. Returning to Colorado, where he went to college, Chef Anthony continued to develop his craft in a variety of different ways.
One of which was during his time at Blackcat Bistro, a local Fine Dining Farm to Table Restaurant located in Boulder, Colorado. Where he learned more about the story connecting the land to the plate.
After spending his life learning how to tell stories, stories of location, stories of culture, stories of chefs and their egos or humility, and many others. Chef Anthony grew tired of telling stories, and instead wanted to listen to them. This is where he created K Kreations, where instead of telling guests new stories, he helps them tell their own through the medium he knows best, food.
